most recent tour
The Choir most recently toured Queensland in September 2009. Riding high on the recent success of the Children's Opera Lost to the Music the boys were keen to 'take it on the road'.

The hard work of touring was broken with a visit to Movie World, a night at the Capricorn Caves in Rockhampton and a ride on the Skyrail in Cairns

The Choir joined with the Birralee Blokes in Brisbane where they gave their first performance before moving north to sing in Maryborough, Gladstone, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns.

on the red carpet in USA

G'DAY USA played host to a wide range of activities and events during a two-week spotlight on Australia. Festivities began in Los Angeles and San Francisco from January 13 to 19 and then continued in New York from January 20 to 24. The exciting program of events showcased the very best of Australian culture, fashion, food, wine, tourism and business
Twenty boys participated in the LA and New York events, including Black Tie Dinners in both cities, Australia Plays Broadway at Carnegie Hall in New York and a Cocktail Function (Nomad Two Worlds) highlighting the Australian Government's reconciliation with its indigenous citizens.

With David Campbell in New York

The boys performed with, met and mingled with celebrities including Eric Bana, Olivia Newton-John, Baz Luhrmann, Hugh Jackman, Ursula Yovich, Nicole Kidmann, Jimmy Barnes, David Campbell, Simon Bourke, Clifton Bieundurr and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to name a few.

Despite the crazy itinerary the boys did manage to squeeze (being the operative word) some fun activities into their schedule. A visit to Hollywood's Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Bowl and Rodeo Drive in LA, a snow ball fight in Central Park New York was mandatory, Times Square, the Empire State Building, a ride in the subway and a highlight was attending Mary Poppins on Broadway!
...
AND of course the boys were in the US on Inauguration Day!

It was an exhausting 10 days but a very exciting time for the boys.
